Watts Matter was founded on a conviction that became a mission — that energy waste is not an inevitable cost of doing business, but a solvable problem with real, measurable solutions. From that founding moment, we have grown into a global team delivering clean energy solutions at every scale — from a single building to national infrastructure.
Today, we're evolving that mission at utility scale — originating and delivering advanced clean energy projects that help businesses, municipalities, and communities take control of their energy future. Our team brings together decades of experience at the highest levels of engineering, finance, and business development across Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and the United States. We have engineers trained at Harvard, École Polytechnique, and Delft. Finance professionals who have advised governments and institutions across three continents. Regional partners with direct relationships at government ministry level in Southeast Asia and proven infrastructure delivery across Latin America. And a founding team with a track record spanning 18 acquisitions and companies that remain international leaders in their fields today.
This is not a team finding its way. This is a team that has been here before.

Watts Matter operates alongside our sister company W2V — same leadership, same mission, different focus. Where Watts Matter delivers clean energy solutions for buildings, facilities, and large-scale infrastructure — including utility-scale solar, grid extension, and smart street lighting — W2V develops systems that turn organic and municipal waste streams into energy and high-value recovered materials — including renewable natural gas, biochar, fertilizer, and captured CO2.
